Hey all I want to throw out a request to the intelligent masses of the SFH on who I should keep in my FFL; I have to choose from Chris Johnson(No brainer) and now the dilema, Larry Fitz, Cederic Benson and Ryan Grant. I am leaning to Cedric Benson but I am flip flopping with Larry Fitz. Standard scoring league No PPR and we have the following starting pos(QB RB RB WR WR TE FLEX(WR/RB) DEF)

Boy! Sounds like you got a pretty good draft!
I would keep Fitz, too, though I don't really know what kind of year he will have with Leinart or Anderson throwing the ball. Should be OK. Who else thay gonna throw to?

Ok... I have to ask, what is it with FF. I don't get it. How could you put together a team of villins that you would love to see your team crush... and then cheer them on. Millions of people dig it. I get that. But how can you hope your natural enemy does good. If your a Pats fan, and you get the Jets D.. then what. Or a Eagles fan and the best qb left is Romo. Could you pick him, and hope he does good.
When I was a little kid I played FF, I was Brian Sipe or Danny White. If someone told me I had to be Simms or Montana. I think I would have to fake a hammy.
I not trying to put down FF. You do it, you have fun maybe make a little money. I just don't get it.

Thanks for the replies as for Random Man I play FF to enhance the football experience. To your point of getting players that may play against your team this is how I approach it. I always cheer for my team regardless but as an example if the titans play the patriots I want the pats to win first and then give up 150 yrds of offence and two score to Chris Johnson. The fact that I can win some cash is a sweet bonus.

Guns I don't know if you know but I have two teams. Browns/Cowboys or Cowboys/Browns. I hear what your saying but i could NEVER root for anyone in my divisions, anyone who beat is in a big game or Hell anyone... Maybe a few players here or there, but in no way would there be enuff to make a team if I could hand pick em. It's cool you can. I wish I could at times (even if I could find the time) It would make you a better student of the game (or of stats atleast). I just can't. There is a old school FF out there where you can pick teams or players from history. not sure of the full story on that. There is no way Icould even do that.. I just had to ask.

I would keep Fitz.
Random, as far as FF, I will try my best not to take any players from the rest of NFC East, but if I must I will. If anyone plays the Eagles, they are benched, I would take a zero before I root for any player that plays against my team. The FF fad is wearing off since listening to Tim and Pat, I’ve become a student of the game instead of a fan. I still play mainly because once a year I get with friends that I don’t see too often … and I get to show off a little inside football knowledge!
